Pamphlets:
- Advocating with the Incarcerated in Oregon: A guide to actions you can take when dealing with problems occurring for an inmate within an ODOC facility; how to access information, and how to be most effective. It includes administrative steps, not further legal action.
- How to explain... Jails and Prisons ...to Children. A Caregivers Guide: Pamphlet for caregivers of children whose parent/s are incarcerated; what to tell children, what to expect.
- Getting Through Oregon's Parole Process: About Oregon's parole process- who is eligible and comes under the Parole Board, what different hearings are about and what the Board considers, how to prepare for a hearing. Does not address how to succeed on parole.
- Free-er, But Not Free (Rev. June 2005): Getting Along on Parole or Post-Prison Supervision in Oregon: A guide to release and supervision for offenders, their families and friends. What to expect, how to get along with your PO, conditions of supervision.
- Keeping Love Alive While in Prison: Written by a couple, one of whom was in prison, about the issues that arise in a relationship, how to deal with them and keep the relationship strong.
- Handbook for ...Families and Friends of Inmates (Oregon Department of Corrections in Partnership with Oregon CURE): Written and published jointly by ODOC and Oregon CURE. Basic information about DOC operations and institutions. Included as part of Orientation packet.
- Visitor's Handbook- A Guide to Visiting in Oregon Prisons: the Process and What to Expect: Covers process and basics of visiting rule. Also covers mail, phones, and getting money to an inmate. Included as part of Orientation packet.
Brochures:
- Oregon Chapter Brochure: Informational brochure explaining the goals of Oregon CURE.
- Addressing the Issues in Your Psychological Evaluation: How to analyze and address issues raised in a psych eval that will impact a release decision. Actions to take, and addressing the issues with the Board.
- Thoughts On Getting Out: Lists things to think about and be aware of when you or a loved one are leaving prison.
